We need your help, we need donations. Remember a homeless person is homeless all year round and not just for Christmas.
The volunteers said that they found it satisfying and enjoyable despite the mess and occasional unpleasant discovery. Some have already offered to help again next year.
For over 3 hours, a huge 18kg of donated apples were peeled and chopped this week. As a result, tonight we enjoyed turkey pie with leeks and mushrooms with a mashed topping, garlic bread and apple crumble and custard.
