We had 44 clients in tonight and it was a good session. We were low on volunteers as a few volunteers were unable to come last minute due to work commitments. It did leave us short but luckily nothing happened that we couldn't manage.This was all exacerbated by terrible problems with the Paddington train line[...]

Much busier than last week, 43 hungry people through the door and 24 in the first 4 minutes. The kitchen volunteers were rushed off their feet tonight. The main meal went, every last scrap.  Jan had made a Bolognese sauce with 5KG of mince that had been donated by West Berkshire Brewery this was served on top of Jacket Potatoes.[...]

This session was one of the quietest we have had for a while only 35 people. We had Roast Vegetable Soup, Pork, Frankfurter and Bean Stew made by the head chef Henry from the wonderful Henry and Joes restaurant.
