Whilst we continue to use the Amazon Wishlist as a central point for seeking donations, but we are also looking for items not listed such as Pot Noodles and Pasta Pots (and similar).
Sue, our wonderful and supportive PCSO was on duty this evening, she volunteers every week whether she is on duty or not. This week Sergeant Simon White also came in to see us and stayed for most of the session which was brilliant. The police support us and are very keen to build relationships with our clients too.
The cold weather can force people to live on harder flooring to help reduce damp coming up through the ground. This can make someone more vulnerable as they choose to sleep in a place that is more visible. Many rough sleepers choose to be invisible for safety. Through this cold weather, hot food and drinks are essential to help prevent hypothermia.
